Context

Galileo Global Education is a leading European provider of private higher education. The group brings together 45 centers of excellence across 13 countries in the fields of art, creation, design, communication, and management. In total, more than 120,000 students are trained each year. Galileo also develops distance learning offerings and "Digital Learning" services.

Challenges

Like many companies today, Galileo Global Education collects a vast amount of data through its activities. The group primarily collects this data from two sources:

  • CRM data

  • Google Search Console data

It is vital to be able to centralize data to save time, analyze it in its entirety, and make the best possible decisions.

The objective was therefore to create a reporting application to allow Galileo Global Education to automate its data processing. By creating an efficient data architecture, the dashboards could be adapted for all group entities worldwide.

To facilitate the adoption of this application, we placed User Experience (UX) at the heart of our priorities. The goal was to make it easy for the largest number of users to learn and use the platform.

Methods et Solutions

During this mission, the Microsoft Azure solution was deployed. Talan teams implemented several technical building blocks of the Microsoft suite, conducting feasibility tests for various types of reporting based on their complexity.

The Azure Data Factory component, for example, was implemented to collect data at scale and then prepare and process it. The data is stored in a fully secure Cloud environment.

Benefits

  • Anticipating new demands arising from the rapid growth of the group.

  • Planning the integration of other data sources, such as Google Analytics or Google Adwords.

  • Making data available to various populations, such as data scientists.

  • Providing a fully secure Cloud solution.

Accelerating Digital Transformation!

By leveraging Microsoft Azure's various PaaS, SaaS, and serverless technologies, Galileo was able to accelerate and succeed in its digital transformation across its different teams and subsidiaries worldwide.
